Well, Minaya made himself and the entire Mets organization look like the laughing stock of the MLB after his press conference. The press conference was supposed to be for the announcement of the firing of Tony Bernazard, and turned into Minaya pointing the finger for blame of the firing on the reporter who broke the story. Correct me if I am wrong, but if the story was not accurate, then Minaya would not have fired him.
